Our stop in Oklahoma City was merely an overnight rest stop to break up the drive from Austin to Santa Fe but we were pleasantly surprised by this city! We booked an Airbnb ahead of time in the 16th Street Plaza District which turned out to be really cute (but small) with plenty of shops and restaurants to walk around. The people were very friendly and there were some really great murals painted on the sides of the buildings.
I'm convinced that OKC is going to be the new Austin since it's still affordable to live in and has a lot to offer. Perhaps we should migrate now, who's coming with me?
