Paris oh Paris, how I love you. We planned to stay in Paris a little longer than the other cities during our European vacation. We've both visited before but it's been a few years and we've never been with each other, so we were so excited to see the city together. I booked an apartment in the Montmartre area - literally a stone's throw away from the Sacre Coer. I also intentionally picked our apartment to stay in the same neighborhood where my favorite movie, Amelie, was filmed. We spent our days exploring our neighborhood, going to museums, walking around, shopping, going to the park and eating (lots and lots of eating). This was also a special leg of our trip because we spent Thanksgiving here, just the two of us. Obviously, Parisians don't celebrate Thanksgiving but the city was gearing up for Christmas so it was especially sparkly. I admit Paris is a little different from when I visited 6 years ago, it's a little dirtier and it's not quite as charming as it used to be. Regardless, it's still one of my favorite cities and I'm really happy Chris and I have such special memories of Paris together now.
