Year 2014 in review
2014 was definitely a unique one. I spent a lot of this year figuring things out and taking risks but feeling really unsettled at the same time. This year, I started Blog Party, celebrated our first year of marriage, grieved the loss of our wonderful dog and ended the year with a trip to Europe. In the meantime we've been trying to figure out what the next few years will look like for us. Chris and I are in that weird stage of considering some huge life decisions - like figuring out our careers, if we should buy a house, when to have kids. It's all crazy to think about but weighs heavily on my mind all the time.
Needless to say, I am ending this year in good health, a roof over my head and surrounded by people who I love and adore. I couldn't be more grateful for that. I don't know what this next year will look like, I've never felt so unprepared, but I'm going to do my best. I know there will be hardships but also lots of amazing things and people to celebrate. So with that, so long 2014 and here's to the new year!
