Call me crazy (my boyfriend sure does), but I've decided to do a 3-day juice cleanse called the Can Can Cleanse. After the dual turkey feasts followed by 3 days of leftovers, I thought this would be a good way to kick-start a healthy holiday season. A juice cleanse intrigued me after reading about Tracy from Shutterbean's experience. I couldn't bring myself to spend the money on the Blueprint Cleanse that she did so when I heard about this local version from my friend Yvonne, I decided to give it a go. The cleanse consists of 8 beverages a day - 2 fruit juices, 2 green vegetable juices (bleh), 2 herbal teas, 1 nutmilk and 1 savory soup. This is all I will be consuming for 3 days straight although there are a few "permissible eats" if I cave into the need to munch on something. I'm interested to see how this goes while I'm working during the day (hoping to break my snack cravings), luckily this is only 3 days. I'll be sure to document my progress, wish me luck!
