We just found out over the weekend that there is a slight but very hopeful chance we will get to visit Hong Kong this year during Christmas (and my birthday), with the whole family! This would be the second big family trip over there but this time I feel like I'm more worldly, appreciative and enthusiastic due to the age difference - I think I was in high school when we went last. Plus I have my beautiful new lens and D-SLR to snapture everything in sight this time (instead of a silly disposable camera). I remember from our last trip being in awe of all the amazing fashion and people and food, oh my the food. Also, my cousins, whom we'd be traveling with, are probably the best tourists ever. Whenever we go somewhere with them, they always have a full agenda and know what to see and how to get there. I definitely have a travel itch that needs to be scratched so we're crossing our fingers that this trip will actually happen! In the meantime, I've been living vicariously through the traveling photographers, Julia and Yuriy Manchik over at Mr. and Mrs. Globetrot. Here are some of my favorite photos from their Hong Kong trip last Christmas.
